Holiday Schedule

These holidays are consistent with the official holidays of the State Courts System.

Florida Statute 43.27 prohibits the Clerk of Court from closing the Clerk’s office without the consent of the chief judge of the circuit, who is bound by further legal requirements authorizing closure only under very limited and exceptional circumstances. Accordingly, in 2024, the courts in the Third Judicial Circuit may close only on the designated days, below. Prior authorization must be granted by the chief judge for any closures other than those listed above.
